Description
The circular route of Torremocha offers a walk through some of the most representative corners of its natural and cultural environment. It starts from the Charca del Pozuelo, located at the entrance of the municipality, and progresses along gentle paths surrounded by holm oaks and cork oaks, where it is common to observe kites, kestrels, and other local wildlife species.
The itinerary also crosses the urban center, providing the opportunity to contemplate the Parish Church of the Assumption, in Baroque style, and the Hermitage of Cristo del Humilladero. Further on, the path reaches the Gallo Reservoir, a peaceful space where the water and riverside vegetation create a relaxing atmosphere.
The route continues crossing the Salor River via an old stone bridge and, after passing the CC-118 road, finishes the circuit crossing the Puente Grande, of medieval origin. It is a perfect route to enjoy with the family, combining landscape, heritage, and serenity at any time of the year.
